Soup is awesome. It is the most fabulous way to pack nutrition into a meal, making it such a great lunch or dinner if you are under the weather, tired, or trying to warm up on cooler days. In short, it is really comforting. But if you buy it in a tin, it never tastes like you hope it will, have you noticed? Usually it tastes processed and weirdly sugary. This healthy, homemade soup is packed with veggies and lentils, it has a delicious curry flavour which also gives it a bit of a kick, and it has warming ginger and comforting coconut milk. The Sydney weather is changing....can you feel it in the air? This is when you pick up the cold and the flu my friends. Ward it off with this medicinal soup, and if you're already flagging, bolster your immune system and get back on track fast. Let food be thy medicine, and medicine be thy food.

Serving suggestion Serve with steamed basmati rice and/or salad. Serve as part of a larger meal with curry and rice. This curry pasty is mild to medium heat spicyness.....add chilli flakes or hot sauce for more heat.

Cooking Instructions
Cook from unfrozen -

Microwave - Cooking from unfrozen - Microwave - empty contents into a microwave safe dish, cover lightly and heat on full power for between 1 to 3 minutes (depending on your microwave), checking and stirring once or twice. Microwave ovens vary. Check that the product is piping hot throughout before serving.

Stove top -Empty contents into a saucepan, and heat gently on a medium burner, stirring occasionally, until product is piping hot throughout. >/p>

Store in the refrigerator at a temperature of 4 degrees or below until 'use by' date, or freeze immediately at a temperature of -18 degrees C or colder. Freeze for the correct period in accordance with your appliance (as the use by date refers only to refrigeration period) and defrost thoroughly before cooking.

Defrosting instructions - Ideally thaw package overnight in the refrigerator. May be defrosted on a low setting in the microwave but this may affect the quality.
